Velox FAQ
Direct answers about the Velox Hyrox training app.
What is Velox?
Velox is a Hyrox training app that turns your station baselines into a structured race-prep plan, daily workouts, and progress tracking in one place. It's built for athletes training for race day, not a generic workout log — download it at velox.fitness.
How does Velox personalize Hyrox race prep?
Velox builds your training plan from your run paces and all eight station baselines, balancing Hyrox-specific work against strength and conditioning (S&C) based on your race goals. That plan is pushed to your calendar, so daily training targets your weakest stations instead of random workouts.
What are station baselines?
Station baselines are your current times and capacities across all eight Hyrox stations, plus your run pace. Logging them lets Velox set realistic race goals, flag weak points, and build a plan around how you actually race — not generic averages.
How does workout tracking work?
Velox tracks streaks, body metrics, nutrition, and progress photos alongside every completed session, so your training history lives in one place. You can also share a Hyrox standing card that ranks your stats against friends using Velox — tracking built for measurable progress, not just a log.
What does the calendar do?
The calendar is where your programs, daily WODs, rest days, and personalized race-prep plan all land, so consistency becomes the default. It rotates Hyrox-specific work against strength and conditioning (S&C) through the week, and the guided in-app workout screen opens automatically when it's time to train.
Is Velox free to download?
Yes — Velox is free to download on Google Play for Android, with an Apple App Store release coming soon. If paid subscriptions or extra features launch later, all fees, billing, and renewal terms will be shown in the app or store before purchase.
What platforms is Velox available on?
Velox is available now on Android via Google Play, with iOS coming soon. The marketing site and account tools at velox.fitness work in any browser, and invite links from shared workout or Hyrox standing cards also lead friends to velox.fitness to download the app.
How is Velox different from other apps named Velox?
This Velox is the Hyrox training app at velox.fitness (Google Play: fitness.velox.android) — built specifically around station baselines, race-prep plans, and Hyrox-focused tracking. It is not affiliated with VeloxGYM, CrossFit Velox, Velox Fit Club, or Velox Training Group. If you're training for a Hyrox race, this is the one.
Does Velox include CrossFit-style strength and conditioning (S&C)?
Yes. Daily WODs blend Hyrox-specific sessions with strength and conditioning (S&C), rotated to match your training phase. Your personalized plan sets the Hyrox-vs-S&C balance automatically, so accessory work strengthens your race performance instead of competing with it.
How do I delete my account?
Open the Velox app, go to Settings, and tap Delete Account at the bottom. Re-authenticate to confirm — deletion cannot be undone. If you can't access the app, email support@velox.fitness from your account's email address, or follow the steps on the delete-account page.
